Team 2 of Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland created a unique model of a climate-adapted bio science park in Leiden.

They won a one-year subscription of Gerrard St. headphones and will visit Jan Terlouw to talk to him about their idea!

In short what happened
The participants of the Sustainable Business Battle

After the Kickoff on the 13th of May 30 motivated students started the Sustainable Business Battle.
They were introduced to their case companies and received lectures and trainings on sustainability and how to solve a business case. They received the necessary tools and a mentor to start working.

The finalists chosen by the organisations during the Semi-Final




Three weeks later all teams came together to the training day, where they received extra help through trainings and lectures and mentoring. On the Inhouseday they had the chance to learn more about the organisation they were working for and had the possibility to ask extra questions.

At the Semi-Final the every organisation chose the team that presented the best idea and solution for their case. These five teams immediately entered the final. On the final on June 23rd all remaining teams had the chance to convince the public of their idea through a poster. The team that received most votes, received the wildcard to enter the final pitches.

The wildcard went to team DUWO 2, Daniel Avila and Seyna van Wassenaer
